GREEN ORKED

Ok let me make it snappy, today I had two events which Alhamdulillah went well for me. Despite the heavy downpour rain that KL had today. So I chose to wear this I call it, the modernised caftan named Orked (in Malay for Orchids) designed by non other than my girl Nurul, from Nurul Wonder Wardrobe! You know how I love my outfits to go really low and big seen from the backside, right? And this piece was just a dream come true! :D

Outfit:
Modern Kaftan: Orked by Nurul Wonder Wardrobe
Jeans: Mango
Bag: Unbranded
Scarf: Old Blossom Box
Wedges: Rubi

At first I attended the Churp Out 2012 event at Publika, organised by Nuffnang. I was there basically to support my friends who opened up their booths to let go of their preloved items for charity! Gosh, in the name of charity, I am so in! It's such a blessing, we have such organisers such as Nuffnang to hold these types of events, not only for the fun and entertainment, but for the benefit for the community. I also signed up to be a volunteer or some sort with WWF Malaysia at their booth at the bazaar today. Weehoo!

The crowded bazaar at Publika

Delectables from Delectables! :p

Super cute ukulele group!

Dropping by Jezmine's booth is like a must for me ngeee..

And the second part of my day, I drove all the way to Puchong Perdana as I was assigned to be one of the speakers for the Circle Talk under Lin Nisa's booth for Muslimahs at the Raudhah event. The topic discussed was not bad as well. We talked about prejudices that hijabis often get when donning that piece of scarf on their head. Of course I had to share my experiences of being prejudiced by some individuals or organisations to the listeners. And I too heard heart-wrenching stories from my fellow panels. It was truly such an eye-opener. Thank you so much TV9 for having me again! You guys are de bomb! :D

It was sad to say that this was the last Raudhah event for this year. Let's hope there'll be more to come next year, ey? I'll let you girlies know if that happens :)

V.E serenading us all with nasheed :')

Quaint lil stationaries and keepsakes with Islamic theme! I'll show you later what I bought hee

And yes, Dear Azalea made those lovely printables and satationaries. My new fav brand!

So that's about it I guess. Need to unpack my goodie bags and distribute them to my family members! Ahaa! Later peeps! :D
