CREAM OF THE CROP

Assalam bloggy! Where have I been you ask? I was away tucked in front of my sketches and papers coz yeah, this month so happens to be the month of exams! I'm sure most of you in local universities in Malaysia are going through the same thing, no?

But today is the weekend! That means I get to go out and smell the fresh air haha.. What I wore today is something I've been itching all past week to wear! I received this super shea-worthy Jenahara dress available at LanaStore. For your info, LanaStore is a Malaysian based online shop that brings you the brands from Indonesia! Cool! Now you don't need to go to Indonesia to get any coveted item, or ask a friend who's on a vacation to Indonesia to get it for you. 

I love this dress to bits! Felt like I was a superwoman or some sort ngeee..

And here's what I wore this dress to... A continuation of my cousin's wedding ceremony, which is the bertandang ceremony. Where it's the reception on the groom's side. I was told that Tasya's hubby's ethnic origin is Minangkabau. I had no idea that the ceremony was to be done in such a rich culture-themed setting. So as soon as I stepped in the hall, I was like :O :O 

I mean, I've never been to such weddings, so this one was definitely the cream of the crop! :D I find myself busy snapping pics of the gorgeous decor way too much, too! See for yourself :)

Witnessing today's wedding, it just feels so amazing to come from a country with such a rich culture diversity such as Malaysia. Never ever be ashamed of your roots, better yet, be proud of them! Ok, gtg! Gotta dig up my family tree now hihi.. Oh btw Khairul, welcome to the family! (Told ya I would blog about your ceremony..hehe.. I would be such a dweeb if I don't, okayy..) :p
