You know, the rezqi and wealth that we have is practically not ours. Whatever that is bestowed upon us is a gift from the Almighty, so the best way to show appreciation to Him is to share it with the ones in need, or your loved ones. Apart from giving sadaqah, Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) loves it when one presents gifts to his loved ones without wanting something in return.

I mean, who doesn't like gifts, right? The concept here is that, you make someone's day with the thought you have in mind of him/her. We could try to put aside some money for gifts for our loved ones on a monthly basis..maybe? It doesn't have to be expensive or extraordinary. Just simple enough to put a smile on their faces.

I always believe that 'the more you give, the more you get back'. And somehow that notion just keeps on proving itself right. So don't worry about spending too much on the righteous path, for you will receive lots more in return before you know it.
