I'm sorry but I just can't keep my mind off from singing Shake It Off by Taylor Swift. That song is purely addictive (and purely not because of my obsession with her haha).
Headed out to meet a couple of influential people in the industry last Sunday, specifically Sumayyah from Love to Dress and Syira from Sheikha Hub. Honestly it's refreshing to meet new people who have loads to talk and benefit you in a million ways. I used to reject or decline meeting people on a closer level simply because I don't have the confidence to do so. Yes, I do face serious confidence issues within myself and I don't think I've shown that side of me on my blog or social media channels.
I'm like you, I have inferior issues (which are a lot), and by meeting new people that opens up your mind and soul, you can discover your true potential along the way. Trust me, I found mine, last Sunday.
And this is what I wore to the luncheon with the ladies! ;)
Chambray shirt: H&M
Cargo sleeveless dress-turned vest: Milktee
Bag: Kate Spade
Wanted to try the military-ish cargo trend minus the camo and olive green appeal. So this was my best bet. I'm comfortable in pulling my hijab up when I have something else covering my chest hehe.. So I find that this is the only way that I would allow myself to adorn a short bib necklace. Simply get any non-fitting outerwear and wear it over your shirt.
And this is me while getting ready. Did I fool you into thinking that this was taken at a white studio? Cause if yes, then sorry to burst your bubble, but this image was taken in my sister's room, on her wall, using only my iPhone camera. :')
