Fashion Diary: My Eid 2015 Outfits

I'm guessing all of you had an amazing Eid celebration with your family this past week, right? Well, that's good if it is! Nobody should ever feel sad on Eid even if you have more or less. Let's have a positive attitude towards life and embrace what Allah befalls upon us especially after a month of successfully completing Ramadan.

As usual, I'd like to share with ya'll my Eid looks for 2015! :D

First day of Eid:
Hijab: Zeez
Kebaya Labuh: Custom made
Scarf: Vintage
Beaded purse: Turkey
Dokoh brooch & ankle cuff: Pusat Kraf Malaysia
Heels: Zalora

I decided to go the extra mile and wear a complete set of Malaysia's traditional attire, called the Kebaya Labuh. There are various types of kebayas we have here but this particular one I'm wearing is called 'labuh' for it means 'long' as it goes till under the knees. It's a two-piece garment and is worn with a scarf hung on the shoulders and a brooch to polish up the look. Back in the days, Malay women don't wear the hijab. And what they'd do is they will tie up the hair in a bun and have on some hair accessories. I wish I could rock that look, but duh, obviously I can't. So I figured I'd match my hijab accordingly to the colour of my outfit.

Second day of Eid:
Hijab: Interhijab
Faye Dress: Shea Rasol
Feathered clutch: Aldo

On the second day of Eid which is where I'd go relatives-visiting, I decided to don the comfiest clothing I have at the moment, which the dress I designed! I've been receiving so many positive responses to how comforting it is when worn, I decided to choose this to help me get by the long hot Malaysian days. And oh, never-ending food consumption too :p This time around I went for the 'less is more' notion and only paired the outfit with a matching feathered purse to finish it off.

3rd day of Eid:
Hijab: Zeez
Kurung Pahang: Adrianna Yariqa
Clutch: Miss Selfridge

And for the third day, since I and more houses to visit, I decided to wear this particular traditional outfit I got as a gift for last year's Eid! Hahaha omg, it has been in my closet for almost a year and I have yet to wear it until a few days ago :p I particularly love the colour combo and how it looks fun and youthful to begin with :D
