Here's another all black ensemble to kick off the mid week. It's been a while since I last sported this colour from top to toe, so I was pretty much excited to have this post up today. And as you can see the ultimate trick in working single-colour pairings is to play with TEXTURES. And for the texture I'm speaking about today in my outfit is of course these golden embroideries on the floor hem of my top.
Scarf: From Makkah
Sunglasses: Retro Superfuture
Embroidered Top: Poplook
Phone case: Chiara Ferragni
Ankle Grazers: Zara
Bucket Bag: Asos
Watch: Cluse (La Boheme)
To make my look unpredictable and casual-appropriate, I decided to finish off the look with a pair of plimsolls instead of heels instead. So there, you can work casual accessories with your dressy tops.. Just give it a try! :D
And you wanna know why I'm jumping in glee in my last photo? It's cause I'm headed to Singapore soon to meet my girls, there! If you're an SG based fashion/beauty label, do holla me at firstname.lastname@example.org so that we can meet and have coffee sometime this weekend! :D
Ps: Notice my new black 'crystal' (that's the name of the base of watches) watch from Cluse? I'd never thought I'd actually like a black coloured crystal with gold mesh straps, but this one was definitely the bees knees when I saw it in their website!
